This afternoon met the gang at Old Airport Road. We going to buy / da bao food and go over to Ping's house to visit his mum. This has become our routine for the past few years sincehis passing away.




The food we bought... dont think its a bit too much.


After food dessert... DURIAN!!!

Then Dino suggestted buying old fashioned chinese kung fu suits and on the 3rd of new year come over again to Pai Nian to aunt. He's joiking of cos... but Aunt really love the idea. So we no choice but go over chinatown after the food and shop...

Today went down Chinatown Point after work for the Dunny launch mini party!

Chit chat, talk w the guys. Then went tikam on the 4 boxes they open for us to see our luck.

My GrandUncle (Grandfather Bro) just pass away this morn ard 9am.

He had been warded at TTS since he slip into a coma last week while going therpy for his knee. i felt that it is a good thing... even thou i cannot feel it, i see his pain, laying there with all those tubes and stuffs in his body. So it must be a relief for him to go this soon....

My memories of him is taking money, going downstairs to buy him soya bean drink (which he loves) and not giving back the change. And everytime, althou he scolds me, he always give me extra money to buy... he got his fair share of troubles & already brave plenty of storms... now its time to take his well deserved rest.

Will miss you... Granduncle...

This year got some special events... other than Xiang's bday lah.

We went to Furama Hotel this year instead of the marina area. Why? Cos cheaper and we can see even clearer fireworks display lei. Hahaha...


While waiting for the countdown, we celebrate Xiang bday too.

Then the special event started... Kai went down on his knees to propose to Lithing... the rest of us made bubbles all round the room, also use balloons to help. Then i forgotten to take video... -_-" paiseh... this is the last min one, a bit dark but can hear what happening and see a bit so ok lah... hee...

But alas, things never go as planned so operation aborted. Anyway we did had fun!

Today was actually going to meet Dino & Simin to go sim lim buy Dino's new comp. But Beng not free so end up only we 2 hanging out at iluma. Dino then wanted to try the new card game we noticed for quite a while liao... and guess what, its quite easy to understand and fun too!



Then after the game Dino suddenly remember he wanted to challenge me eat the BIG burger... so we went downstairs to the ape restaurant. And ordered 1 each....

On Christmas met up w the gang for a mini gifts exchange, then dinner & a movie. This is what i call life!

Today at office we got us some juice and go ard 'kan pei' w our collegues.


Then at home, instead of turkey, i got Mum some sushi for dinner. Hahaha...

Yo ppl, i'm back!

Had a fun trip there just shopping & eating... really only shopping & eating, nothing else. hahaha.... Bought a lot of stuffs too for myself and for sale. So its not a wasted trip there.

Just a simple summary : Day 1 -
Happened to change upon a Toy Fair on the day we arrived, so naturally we went there and got some stuffs. Also went to hunt for their famous dessert and food.

Day 2 -
Went ard Huang Da Xian temple and dim sum in the morn. Good! Think in future hard to find good dim sum like HK. Toy shops open late ard 4pm so hang arond main shopping centres see see look look than go look for our stuffs. Also walk the Woman market too, stuffs there is cheap lei.

Day 3 -
We met up with some other frens who came HK for holiday too. He took us to a old dim sum restaurant where we need to charge for the seats and the food too. Food is unquie and good... hope in future if i went back i still can find it ba. Then there's a place where a lot of warehouse sale stores is located like addias/nike/mango/timberland etc, so we went there after breakfast/lunch.

After clothes shopping we went back to find the toys we laft out and spend the rest of our money. No point keeping HK notes in our pockets. Help frens but toys too.


Day 4 -
Check out, last min shopping again.... eating again...

Then go airport, come back Spore! Home liao... end liao... Hahaha.... free can go back again and do more shopping & eating! ^o^

In about 8 hrs i'll be on a plane to Hong Kong!

Today was a lazy Sun morn. Was relaxing after a simple breakfast w mu mum. Then receive a sms from Wendy if i'm going out. So i arrange to meet her at Orchard Kino to pass her the bear.

Traffic is really terrible at Orchard.... maybe wont go there again this mth since Christmas is coming. Reached Kino & Wendy ask me for $3.20 to renew her lost Kino card... she dont have cash. -_-;

Bought some comics then noticed Wendy got a Burberry bag in hand...
Me:"You went shopping?" *pointing to her bag*
W:"u late ma, so went walk walk a bit & got this...."
Me:"oh... what is it? How much?"
*Notice a face of happiness but regrets at same time*
W:"A cute bag... $400..."
Me:"oh...." *eyes blinking*

Later i paid for our books at Kino.... far cheaper than her bag, a good deal!

We then went over to CSC and met up w Dino & Terz. Chit chat, buy some toys and left for lunch. Wendy wanted to eat pork satay so Terz suggest Old Airport Rd. On our way we suddenly tot of Golden Mile chicken rice which sell satay as well. So end up there. Hahaha...

Had a good lunch... Wendy took 14 satays by herself even thou she having a hangover... WOW! SUper! (o_O) We then went over to TCC for tea and met up w Wendy old fren whom we didnt meet since ktv in dec 2005! Yvonne! (hope name still correct...) *see link*
